Tonys pick is not surprising....if we lose he can say see I told you they are not that good yet, if we win he will say we are playing above expectations.

UNC's actually 1-9 against us since '97. But most of those wins were very close games. Our record against UNC's last two HCs isn't all that relevant here. We have a bad habit of taking teams like UNC too lightly.
 
All the CBS writers pick UNC to win. I think this one's a toss up, but I think we will be ready for the worst.

CBS can have it. The more people that vote against us the better IMO. I don't think it is a toss up. Like I have been saying all week, if UNC can't have their precious INT's then they don't win. They certainly won't get them from GT.

I can't see them running on us. We need pass rush to be great. DB's have to defend the slant. UNC WR's catch and run extremely well. But, if our defense is "on", I see us holding them to 14. Can't give up points on kick returns, also.
 
They can't pick us off if we dont' throw. And we won't throw until they stop the run. And they won't.

The only question is: can we stop them? I think the answer is yes but it will not be easy.

Tech wins but not by much.
 
Before the season, I picked this as our "breakout" game. I circled this game and said that this was the day that everything was finally going to "click" for everyone. Let's pray that I was right...

Agree ContactBuzz. I believe Nicks will bee the best we see this year by a wide margin, including Green from ugag. We really need a healthy JWD.
