I liked the comments in the AJC this morning re: TOny Hargrove and also reading about Gathers taking him under his wing.

Did you guys see Tony Sat. on one play that was run to the opposite side? He ran down the RB from the back side and helped make the tackle for only about a 1 yard gain.

From the opposite side of the field! He is starting to look good.

"People are going to be keying on me," Gathers said. "That's one thing I tried to emphasize to the whole defensive line. We've got to step up as a whole. It just can't be Greg Gathers and three other defensive lineman."

So after last season Gathers pulled Hargrove, then a freshman, to the side.

"He was like, 'I need you to work,' " Hargrove said. "And ever since then he's always been there, helping me, guiding me, showing me what I need to do. He's in the weight room telling me how to lift, how much to lift."
