Offense puts Roof in a position to win with 2 mins left.
Roof fails again.
 
Both stunk it up. You would think 30ish by the O and 6 from the D would win. But this is GT.
 
Our defense provided more than ample opportunity for our offense to get its shit together. Our offense did not do that. I didn't see defensive scheming problems on UVA's last drive, I saw our guys gassed and getting outrun and outplayed.

edit: in my blind rage and pain I didn't even notice this was a shitpost. not deleting what I said though.

Quality shit post.

The D provided the offense a chance to get us ahead in the game even though the O ööööed them multiple times by giving Virginia short fields.
 
I was pretty surprised at our secondary. I never imagined Virginia would have that kind of success throwing deep.
 
Problems all around. ST was garbage. Offense disappeared for long stretches. Defense was either really good or really bad series to series.
 
I really wish that Lucas Johnson would get some reps. Sure would be nice to have a semblance of a passing attack
 
For the number of upper classmen on our team, we shouldn't have this kind of swinging between series.

I'm sure depth is a factor, but it feels like there's a coaching issue.
 
Depth is a factor -that’s why the ST’s are below par. Butler masked our ST deficiencies, but with his departure we’re seeing ST’s play revert back to where it was prior to his arrival -players who, in some instances, shouldn’t see the field not making the necessary plays.

But, you either put starters out on ST’s, and risk injury, or you deal with opponents starting their offensive series outside of the 35 while you’re starting inside the 25.
 
No way you can point to anything and say,"there's why we lost".

Kick return for TD and an onsides kick failure early, multiple bad decisions on punt catches. Also, good punting.

Defense allowed points, also scored 7.

Offense scored points, also safety and 2 picks.

We played like crap and coached like crap and we lost.
 
D sucked in the second half. But this game was also on the O and special teams.

Defense let in 24 points net while being given short fields all day. Not great but no worse than the O/ST.
 
ST's and last minute defensive collapse (again) lost the game for us.
