toughest ACC games

Looking at the schedule, the two ACC home games that I am looking most forward are UNC and VT. This is partly because they beat us last year and partly because they have been talking trash this year. No, I am not forgetting the most important game of the season, UGA, but that is a separate item.
The toughest ACC away game will be FSU.

If we win at least two of those three games, I think we will be in very good shape.

Don't overlook UVA regardless... I hate the place (although its an absolutely gorgeous stadium). I'm more afraid of that game then FSU. We know what up with the noles but can't seem to figure out the HOOS in Charlottesville...atleast we haven't since 90

I thought that Virginia game was ours last year... Pretty embarrassing to lose at homecoming to freaking Virginia.

I wouldn't overlook Clemson even with doofus at the helm. We take a few games to get the kinks worked out. Couple of fumbles bounce the wrong way and it could be an uh-oh game.

We have a lot of talent but any team, no matter how good, can just have 'one of those days.'

I won't mention a particular game last year.

Nobody is going to lay down for us - we're going to have to play like champs every single Saturday.

And I noticed that nobody is talking about Wake Forest. That's our last game before UGa. That game has trouble written all over it.

I'm actually chalking up F$U as a loss so I suppose I think that's our toughest.

Behind F$U, I suppose I'd go with Wake. Its a trap game and Grobe is every bit as smart as CPJ.

With exception to JSU, Duke and Miss St., I'm not overlooking any game --and Duke & Miss St are on the road.

CU, UNC, VT, WF --every home ACC game is tough. It won't get any easier @ UM, FSU and UVA. Vandy on the road is no gimme --and then there's UGA.

I have high expectations this season and I do feel that 9-10 wins, a Coastal and ACC title are a strong possibility --but it certainly won't be easy.

I think Clemson is a potential trip up game because 1) it is early in the year and kinks will need to get worked out 2) by having only to prepare for a weak first opponent, they can focus on some triple option defense for longer times than many others. Not that this will make a huge difference if run effectively, but again, it is the beginning of the year.

For your number one, this is just as true for them, with a brand new quarterback to boot. Don't forget that we also have only a weak opponent before them. If we get a crowd reaction like what we had going at Miami, a decent chance since the weather will be much more amiable, then we'll have a decent home field thing going.
