Makes you wonder if the recruitment of super athletes are worth it. Pryor and Maurice bit him in the butt and cost him his job and legacy forever. He would have probably coached at the OSU until he retired.

Recruiting guys with low character isn't worth it, but there's plenty of examples of guys that are top tier athletes with high character. Coaches just need to do more research other than watching film and chasing stars.

i think it's also a question of whether rife really was his client. If it's drug trafficking, there are probably tons of defendants. Each one is probably going to need his/her own counsel to run up the bill.
