Trigger Warning: Nick Chub Injury

A defender who doesn’t cut the legs there doesn’t make it to the NFL or they don’t stay long.

Head hunting was once legal, it didn’t make Ronnie Lott dirty. It was just part of the game.
It actually does make that person dirty. It’s just we were willing to pay the players a lot less money so it didn’t matter.

That would be one of the worst chop blocks ever if it were on the OL
Chop blocks are illegal because the DL often has his legs planted while engaged with a blocker, which makes that action much more dangerous. A running back has his legs moving, not anchored, big differences

High-paying jobs have high risks.

I’m ambivalent on the injury - as I am for every injury in pro sports.

I hate the browns and the mutts although I'm a steeler fan and I drafted nick chubb in fantasy I'm trying to figure all this out still.

drafted him too. 2nd round. putting in a FAB for his backup and the Rams RB. i do have Jacobs and Breece Hall.

Make it worse I drafted burrow first
seriously. i drafted Chase 1st (4th overall) and Higgins in 3rd. first two weeks have not been pretty. i always draft a lot of RB depth so that should be fine. But Cincy needs to ramp things up.

öööö isn't that the 2nd time for him??

Yeah

Next up is NFL requiring offensive players to flop on the gound like soccer at first contact. Can't hit 'em high, can't hit 'em low then there's no place to hit 'em. We about to be playing flag football in the NFL.

In the first injury at UGAY he tore everything I believe. I think he basically did the same thing here. It was miraculous that he came back strong and had a successful career in his remaining time in college and was drafted relatively high as well. I was even more impressed how long he played without any other serious injury up until now. This is the kind of injury that can sever arteries in the leg/knee (happened to the UCF QB a few years ago, who eventually played for F$U after two years of recovery). I don't think Chubb will ever play again but if he does I'll have mad respect for him but if I were his ortho MD I would advise him not to.
