True, I'm really a lot dumber and less humorous (if that's possible) than my message board persona. To be fair, it's pretty easy to take on a new persona online.

Someone should compile a "best of 20oz" and post that...
Anyone who actually thinks 20oz is funny is probably a tool.
I don't think anyone does that.I'm 110% in agreement and have never understood why people bow down at the alter of 20oz no make that 40 lbs of crap called 20oz.
Yes. He rarely says anything in person and he's very polite.
Agreed. Whether he's trying to be serious or not...his posts are humorous simply b/c they are so outrageously unprovoked and conceited.have u really met him, I think he's hilarious. Even funnier now that he's been posting his bony little arm in his avatar, he used to not do that.
I really get a kick out of him and the responses that he gets.

Nope, I thought so, too. He's real.Wow, really?
I had come to the conclusion that he was a George P. Burdell-esque character created by a Tech fan.

That might leave a mark. You must have loved Bob Saget back in the day when he was on Full House too.
That might leave a mark.
BTW, is the new Bob Saget any funnier than the old one?
Nope, I thought so, too. He's real.
No, just introduced to him by a hiver, probably AFRJacket. How in the heck did you meet him? You must have known him personally before he ever came on here?
Does he demand respect in person?
What I find most interesting is that everyone talks about how much they think he's not funny or that he is funny or whatever and just look at this thread. He didn't even post here and this thread about a post he made on a Michigan message board is 4 pages long and counting.
From what I know of the guy, his internet character isn't anything like the real thing. He never breaks character on the message boards either. I grew tired of his style a while back, but there are always a few funny things in the replies that follow. What's most interesting is to see how stupid people are to not recognize his act and how pissed off they get. He has never failed to leave a board without generating lots of traffic due to backhanded comments.
The Oklahoma State board deleted the thread after they figured out what was going on after over 100 replys to his thread about "respect". They realized that his post brought out so much ignorance on their board, that they had to get rid of the thread totally. If I were a scout mod, I'd just delete his thread as soon as I saw the screen name, but isn't traffic a good thing?
The misconception is that he really gives a crap. The reality is that it's funny that people get worked up over something that is given very little effort. Childish? Yes, but so are fart noises and most men laugh at the farting preacher videos.
Once people recognize it for what it is, they ignore it and just sit back and watch the ignorace feed off of itself. Sometimes it's entertaining to see how ignorant people can be. Like people watching at WalMart. Next time your wife or girlfriend needs to go to WalMart or Target, go with them and just sit in the oh so clean snack bar area and watch folks. You'll feel better about yourself in 30 seconds.
Thanks Voltaire for the novel, I just rather insinuate that he's gay and people who think its funny are tools but if you want to give us the psychological reasoning behind 20Oz posts, knock yourself out, just don't act like you are above it all for adding to a 2 page post that he hasn't posted in with a psycho analysis of the masses who are too stupid to understand it. I think we already know that.

Nice. You're my favorite.
From the posts here of folks that still don't get it, it appears that "we" don't "already know that".
