TStan Interview with 680 Discussion (notes and takeaways)

Fairly surprising to TStan. He knew based on CPJ's age that it was possible, but they had not been talking about for awhile. Also, it was 100% Paul's decision.

TStan really sounds out of sorts. Not sure if Paul might still coach again.
 
Straight up saying he didn't try to talk CPJ into staying.
 
If TStan knew it was a possibility -hope C&C ask if he has a "list" of potential head coaches
 
It’s no longer fun for CPJ. The entire football world is against him and the more irrational voices of the fan base are turning independent fans against him. Plus kids today suck. I wouldn’t want to coach his offense either.
 
Todd is sooooooo Canadian. Says he'll consult but this is HIS hire.

Option coaches will be weighted the same as non-option coaches during the search.
 
"Will you look for a 3O option coach?"

Answer: a triple option coach is neither in nor out because of the system...
 
Not necessarily looking for an option guy, just looking for "THE" guy. The right fit. I'm ok with this.
