What exactly does "corporate" mean? That there is a large record label behind the band? A certain style? Whether music is crap or not does not really depend on anything which I can conceive of "corporate" meaning in this context.

Also, most of the music at MM does suck most of the time on its own merits (or lack thereof), not whether it is "corporate."

Did you watch the last awards show? Let's give Beyoncé and Bruno Mars more awards!!! It is that bland stuff that is the pop equivalent of modern country music.
Corporate is what is shoved down your throat. There are a lot of really good bands out there who actually play their own instruments and aren't autotuned.

I 100% agree with your last sentence, but you obviously have no clue about Bruno Mars. He's one of the more talented musicians in the biz today.

I suppose they just had one open and figured "what the hell". Kirby held onto them as long as possible in hopes of getting some more 4-5 star athletes. I hope goggles misses the tying extra point with one second left against Samford today.

The one second is so he has to follow it with a kick off

Nice attempt at spin. We all know there would've been no scholarship if his dad hadn't had a public hissy fit. Smart was just preempting more controversy. Kid should've transferred, they don't appreciate him there. One big miss and they'll throw him under the bus on top of Eason's lifeless body.

And how does that work, granting a scholarship in the middle of the season? Didn't the academic year already start? Is it really for the next semester?
