UCF path to final 4?

Just in general interested if a g5 team could make the playoffs, would the precedent be set? You go undefeated two straight seasons and we will give you a shot in the final 4. I don't think it is such a bad model, and is almost impossible to do. I still think UCF will drop a game somewhere, but if they don't they have a shot. Real quick I just thought of some reasonable scenarios in which they'd jump to 4th potentially-

Bama undefeated-
Clemson loses to VT in acccg
LSU loses to A&M to end season
ND loses to USC to end season
Mchigan/Ohio st.- one loses in rivalry game and one loses in big10 ship
UGA- loss in seccg
Oklahoma- L in big 12 ship
Washington st.- L to Washington
Kentucky- L to UGA
Florida- finishes 10-2
-----------------------------
UCF- 13-0, AAC Champs---- Probably jumps most of these teams if those results happen.
 
Actually looks like the coastal can't finish in a 7 way tie anymore. Craziest it could finish is-

Pitt 5-3
GT 4-4
VT 4-4
Miami 4-4
UVA 4-4
Duke 4-4
UNC 3-5
 
UCF is gonna need some help. If everything remains constant we won’t have to worry about two teams from a conference getting in. I guess it’s up to the committee to weigh 1 loss teams like Oklahoma, Wash state, and either Ohio st or Michigan
 
UCF needs the best team that isn't undefeated to have 3 or more losses to even think about the top 4. Committee has 6-2 UF one spot ahead of them right now.
 
UCF needs for every P5 school team to contract the flu during the entire period from regular season ending until the playoffs are scheduled to end. No teams able to play any games. Double forfeits. FThey end up playing the Sunbelt champions for the National Championship.
 
Make them sign a contract, stating they will remove that National championship shit from their press box after Alabama breaks it off in them. Then they can be in CFP.

They have just as much right to claim as we did in 1990. Let it continue to hang.

Their fake national championship is more real than UGA's non-existent national championship, but it still isn't anything like our real national championship. They were never number 1 in any poll, nor declared national champions by anyone other than themselves. Good job on them for having a magical season, but let's not put self-congratulations in the "accomplishments" bucket.
 
Probably regretting not playing UNC considering how their season has went thus far.

Uga had a chance, they were winning in the actual championship game, while UCF was watching on television. What are they ranked 9th? Any team in the top 5 would ass blast them so bad pornhub wouldn’t post the video.
 
Gotta get themselves into a big boy conference if they want to play for the grand prize. I just don't see any non P5 getting into a 4 team playoff unless they somehow load their OOC schedule with heavyweights (and manage to beat all of them) which isn't realistic. If they expand it to 8, sure, give them a shot.

The most UCF can claim or become is "the best of the rest". They should be happy with it.
