Y'all are forgetting they finished 6th last year, and started 20th. Starting 8 spots above this time

This would be good TV / best TV.
Then once both have signed and they are shaking hands, UCF kicks Alabama in the stomach and powerbombs them through the table. UCF reveals to a prone Alabama and the rest of the nation that they had a special clause added to the contract, and that if they win Saban must retire. They then then pose with Alabama's turnover title, before walking away with it.

Still trying to figure out who'd win a 7 way tie in the coastal.
or join the SEC baybeeThe only way UCF gets in is if they change their name to Notre Dame.
UCF will have trouble with South Florida.UCF needs the best team that isn't undefeated to have 3 or more losses to even think about the top 4. Committee has 6-2 UF one spot ahead of them right now.
They have just as much right to claim as we did in 1990. Let it continue to hang.
Gotta get themselves into a big boy conference if they want to play for the grand prize. I just don't see any non P5 getting into a 4 team playoff unless they somehow load their OOC schedule with heavyweights (and manage to beat all of them) which isn't realistic. If they expand it to 8, sure, give them a shot.
The most UCF can claim or become is "the best of the rest". They should be happy with it.
Ucf's natty undermines the current farce that we operate with. We are trying to pretend that the bcs's 2 team playoff and the current 4 team playoff produces a definitive best team and its clearly not true. Without a more clear lath to the playoffs, it's all subjective and ucf should take advantage of it.
This. IMO undefeated teams should be in the playoffs over teams who have lost. If our system doesn't allow that to happen, the system is ööööed up.If back to back undefeated seasons are not enough to get in, then we seriously need to consider expanding the playoffs.
