UGA apologizes for giving Ludacris Cognac, Condoms, useless degree

I didn't know you could still find Lowenbrau. (Brings to mind a great Johnny Carson clip of "Lowenboy" beer. Yeah, I'm old.)
And condoms for Queen Latifah?
Maybe Van Halen's proviso for a bowl of M&Ms with the green ones picked out wasn't so off the wall after all. Though I think David Lee Roth said they did that just to make sure the fine print in the contract was read.
Recipe isn't the same. It was Miller in the 70's and Budweiser/InBev now. If you want to crap up a beer, that pretty much guarantees it. Might as well head to the mountains.

True rock stars demand a room full of women for which no condoms are required. Amateurs.

Yeah, but he had enough sense to know that you might catch something in athens that won't wash off.

Judges?

We are going to allow it.

:hiding:

Did you think he meant ... nah, you're not that low. Then again ....

Anyway, when's it going to come out that UGA provided *ahem* receptacles for the condoms?

Some things you just don't put in a contract. You get your most trusted assistant to buy it and give it to you on the sly. I'm surprised these idiots didn't put hemorrhoid cream and adult diapers on the list.

Maybe the condom request is the hip-hop equivalent of Van Halen asking for no brown M&Ms.
No brown M&Ms is a reference to the Rolling Stones. Keith Richards used to request a bowl of M&Ms but only the brown ones.

Why don't you Google before you post?
Try "Van Halen M&M clause". Confirmed on Snopes.

I think you misunderstood what I meant by "a reference to the Rolling Stones." I was saying that Van Halen was referencing the Stones by using brown M&Ms as their test.

I remember from the late 60s/early 70s hearing that the Stones actually asked for a bowl of all brown M&Ms in their dressing room. Not as a test but because Richards, as I recall, just liked brown M&Ms. Could be Van Halen heard the same thing and used it as their test clause as a nod to the Stones. I did try to verify that but can't find anything - it was a long time ago.
