UGA is terrible.

You don't know what a flame is. This was VT's first test this year and they looked bad. He was just giving his opinion, and I sort of agree. It was a great victory for us but we should not think it will be our best test this year. Clemson and UGA are yet to come, plus Miami.

I agree with your thought that we give way too much credit to uga fans just because they seem civil on a GT board. It is all very condescending.

Jake may be a really neato guy, but he just seems like the dude who hangs out in the men's locker room a bit too long.

Thanks for standing by me, pocket! I just don't understand why an UGAy fan would want to hang around Tech fans. I would vomit if I ever read Ball Licker message boards. He must be a closet Tech fan or he is just enjoys the occasional flame post against our Jackets.

I think their quarterback throwing for over 300 yards with no interceptions would qualify for a good performance for VPI. How is it that we win a game that most thought we were going to lose, and then everyone comes out saying it was VT's bad performance, not our performance that won us the game? This Ball licker came on here to minimalize our win because he knows that his team will falter in their big games against UT, UF, and us. It is about time for them to play somebody, hell they have been playing cupcakes for an entire month.
 
Jake is a fine example of a great college football fan who has never bashed our program and I for one enjoy his posts here.

I hope for the sake of GT Football, that we never take UGA for anything but the best football team in America.

This only makes our "W" over UGA all the better.

I'd much rather beat the #1 team in the nation than to have a "W" against some invalid team.

The better they are, the better we are when beating them.

Anyone who takes these boards too seriously, needs to step away from the computer and head to the shrink. When it stops being fun to post, then stop posting and go have some fun.

Jake, I've been on this board for a long time. I can say I haven't had a problem with you posting here.

I have a short fuse with fans from other schools too.
 
GAJake is one of the few UGA posters I have enjoyed on any board and I have little to no tolerance of other fans on GT boards. He's a pretty humble guy.

Well I might have overreacted to what you said, I just want you to answer this question, why does a UGA fan want to post on a Tech message board? So you don't like Reggie's jawing? Well you might not like a lot of your team as I have seen a lot of your players jawing as well.
 
Jake doesn't bother me. I just thought it was funny that he was posting on a Ga Tech board while his team was playing on national tv. Just didn't get that one.:dunno:

I can see where other people would have taken offense to what he said about Reggie. It's kinda like pickin on your little brother. You do it all the time but when someone else does it....

I had a real long post explaining myself, but I realized that I've already aswered this question before and there's no answer I can give that would be satisfactory to you. You're one of a few that will never like that I'm here and will always disagree or negate what I say.

As for the jawing; I don't have a problem with other position players talking a little smack, especially defensive guys, but the quarterback should be concerned with the next play coming in from the sidelines, not trying to justify their existance to a linebacker. I've never seen anything like it to his extent at the quarterback position.
 
Partially agree with you on the jawing, I just feel that Reggie should talk a little if he wants to, but not go overboard like he apparently did at the end of the game. Although since we don't know what was said, it could have been another screw job by that horrendous crew.
I apologize for overreacting to your posts, I guess was just really fired up after our big win on Saturday.
 
UGA's offense may be down this year, but in my opinion, they are the best defense we'll face this year, and that includes VT and Clemson, who are both pretty good. They don't need a good offense to win a 14-7 game like they did last year.

As for the issue on how to treat obsequious UGA fans like Jake, I have no problem as long he doesn't display posting diarrhea.

They may stink right now but you better believe when we come rolling into Sanford & Son stadium, they'll drag out their best after shave and cologne in the cabinet. They'll be smelling MUCH better then.

Bulldogs by nature have a tendency to stink in my opinion. I think it comes from laying around in their own piles.

We haven't smelt too good either except for the VT game.
