A University of Georgia professor has adopted a “stress reduction policy” that will allow students to select their own grades if they “feel unduly stressed” by the ones they earned.

At Tech they go a step further and let you choose a new school

Exactly. They are avoiding the mistakes UNC made and just being upfront about it. They can't be nailed for lack of institutional control if they're clearly in control the whole time.

Had a feeling there would be some reversal. Went viral and was making UGA look bad. They'll just keep it off the syllabi in the future.

My friend from Washington told me at Evergreen State College, they don't even have grades... Just a professor's narrative on the student's performance...
