UGA QB’s are hurt!

That's not the point. The point is FSU went undefeated last year, won the conference, their QB got hurt, and they fell out of the top 4. This year, UGA lost 2 during the reg season, won the conference, their QB got hurt, and they get a #2 seed. They would have been in the 4 team playoff if it was still 4 teams, where FSU was left out of a 4 team playoff last year in a similar scenario.

This. Hell they aren't the same team with an injured punter. That dude is a game changer. UGAg scored their first TD on us in the 3rd quarter because we swapped 3 and outs and their punter pinned us at the 15 while our punter barely got it to midfield. Gave them a short field for their first score.

Don't speak truth on a thread that is too busy hating the opposition because they're jealous of what they have. COFH is all well and good but the idiots that act like UGA isn't a really good school now, and the fact they've built a dang dynasty. There's a difference in a rival and just plain stupidity like kids. Been going to Tech games since I could walk but if you claim to be a "football" fan and not have respect for what Kirby's built, then you're just plain stupid. Hate'em as a rival but acting like "we're better than" when we aren't.....yeah. It's childish and stupid. I won't root for UGA in a swim meet but damn....I'd love to have their problems right now. But people on here don't like fact...it's easier to just insult out of jealousy.

As I recall, they didn't even just drop when the QB got injured. They only dropped after winning two more games without the starting QB, including #12 Louisville in the ACCCG and their SEC rival Florida.

It was so absurdly obvious that the committee was just hoping that FSU would lose one of those games to give them an excuse to drop them. They made the wrong bet and then had to show their hand and the whole world saw that they were just in the bag for the SEC. Then Herbstreit tried to defend the indefensible position of the committee, tipping us all off that, despite his frequent protests to the contrary, he's in the bag for the SEC as well.

And let me say, the decision to put SMU in this year over the 3-loss Alabama buys the committee nothing in my book. It'll be a long road back for after last year's debacle.

Let's be clear, it's not jealously, it's pure unadulterated hate. To marginalize it as merely jealousy is offensive and demeaning to those that have spent a lifetime cultivating a purity of hate that is downright biblical in scale, and as such the tolerance for such blasphemy as equating this purity as anything other than the supreme hatred that it is, that is just unconscionable. There is no respect to be had for what kirby has built anymore than one would respect Satan himself for the empire he has built in the underworld. This is the gospel of THWG247, spread it far, spread it wide, let it be known, let it be so. You would think this would be obvious but the good work is never done.

Kirby has built what he built because he has spent more than anybody over the last 10 years (before it was legal btw) and lets those players get away with damn near everything. There is a complete lack of institutional control over there so for anybody to claim anything at all about their academics is just plain stupid. That all starts from the top, so no matter how good their academics get, the administration is still over athletics and as long as they continue to let them operate the way they do, everyone involved with that program/school can eat shiit.

I've been a GT fan and going to our games since the 1950's, learned to hate the butt sniffers at an early age and have honed that hate over the last 70 years Don't come on ST with Ugag BS. IF you "are" a Tech fan embrace this hatred. Bye the way the POS dawg coach is not referred to as "Kirby" with other less endearing adjectives.

How very grown up. Probably the perfect example of why our fanbase is the butt of more jokes. There comes a point when people grow up. I hate uga as a rival, but can't not admit what they've built. Hate and jealousy run hand in hand more often than not. So I guess you're just an old jealous type of dude huh? Hell, 90% of the folks on here can't have an intelligent conversation like adults and nit pick every post like it's the Dead Sea Scrolls. I guess you cheer when the other team's players get hurt too? The way some of you act it's embarrassing to other Tech Fans.

You know we were paying or "gifting players" too waaaay back in the 90s especially in basketball. I guess you don't remember Dion Glover signing and driving around a brand new pathfinder that he couldn't afford. That's just one example....or Reuben Houston riding around with Bricks of Mary Jane in the trunk. Hypocritical af

Not saying that everybody always played by the rules. But taking it to the extreme because you know nobody is going to do anything about it is a different story. It's called ethics.

Who wouldn't....it's the world we live in. On or off the field. We've done it over and over just as well. Hell had Houston been another bloke off the street, probation would've never been thought of and would've spent 3-5 minimum in prison.
