ugag gets GA Southern recruit to flip......

UGA had a bunch of de-commits in the past week. They are desperate to fill the now empty slots.
 
You know if they're poaching Southern's recruits they're going hard after ours. Just one more day
 
He's still a 2-star on rivals (and 5.3 so it looks like they actually reviewed him). MLD, Weimerskirch, Marshall, Jarrett, Cottrell, Marshall, Benson, and Walker are all potential RBs for us. So according to rivals, we potentially have eight RB commits ranked higher than UGAs best RB in this class - got to love rankings.

Marshall's film is certainly better than this guy's. Wonder how hard (if at all) they went after him.
 
Maybe RB recruits are realizing that UGA only has one spot on the field for like 10 guys. So why go to UGA and be Chubb's backup?

At Tech we have 3 spots every play, and we run it so much we have to rotate some

More like no good RB wants to go ride the pine at UGA for the next 2-3 years and then be recruited over. They're pretty stacked. Next year they'll probably be able to land an "elite" one again.
 
Yeah...in Carvell's article he said the kid was a 3 star, but the 247 composite ranking has him as a 2 star. The composite ranking is what Carvell says he uses when he underrates our recruits in his blog.

Oh well.

and then carvell added, "by the way there's still a scholarship available for Brad Stewart over at Georgia Tech."
 
Interesting that Carvell didn't mention that this happened because a RB decommitted from uga for Oklahoma State...

Good to know both Lands Davis and Marshall are solid GT and didn't flirt with uga...

Also...go read the dawgrant recruiting thread. When we get a 2 star next time I going to reference their attitudes right now when they make threads about getting a lowly 2 star.

Hear tell it from them this guy they plucked from Ga Southern is under the radar and going to be better than the guy they lost.

UGA fans are idiots.
