From Tom Osbourne's first season (1973) to Nebraska's last year running the option (2003), they had 8 WRs taken in the NFL Draft while Ugag, who gets high profile WR recruits every year, has only had 6 drafted out of their pseudo-pro-style offense from 1973 to present. GT has also had 8 WRs drafted since 1973.
In 1984, the #1 pick in the NFL draft was Irving Fryar a WR from Nebraska playing in a triple option system. Fryar is one of only 2 WRs drafted #1 since 1980.
Calvin Johnson was the #2 pick in 2007.
Ugag has never had a WR drafted higher than 13th.
