Re: Ugag\'s schedule, how many losses?
From a pre-season viewpoint, that is one helluva tough schedule. IMO, their 4 certain/near-certain wins are UK, Vandy, Northwestern St and NMState. After that, they are vulnerable.
Road games in Tuscaloosa, Columbia and Auburn will be tough from a crowd standpoint. Throw in the usual loss in Jacksonville (UF still is very talented). UT will be a really tough game, but luckily in Athens. Clemson and Ole Miss will not be pushovers, though I think UGA takes these 2.
On top of all of that, the Tech game is a tossup. I predict 9-3/8-4. Too many pick'em type games. No way they'll go through that schedule without 3 or 4 losses, IMO.
Let's not forget also that their Defensive line and defensive backfield were decimated by graduation. Also, they lack depth at running back. They'll be good again, but not great.
Tech and Georgia have been in similar boats the last few years. We're both good, but not great. We both have had trouble getting over the hump.
