Explain to me how parking up there in the concrete jungle. fighting Atlanta traffic, and watching games in that thimble of a stadium even remotely resembles what college football is supposed to be about.

What you say ?

Seems like a lot of whining. Not every college has to be out in the middle of ****town, Nowhere.

Explain to me how taking Hargrove Military Academy transfers too dumb to tie their own shoes, exploiting them to sell tickets to fans too dumb to have even gotten into Georgia with it's own barrel scraping standards, and then turning them loose to be garbagemen for the rest of their lives, remotely resembles what college football is supposed to be about.

I usually don't stoop to the above rhetoric, but I would if provoked.

My response:

As opposed to being in a giant sardine can with a bunch of drunken idiots that are puking everywhere, stumbling, and peeing in their pants ? Yea, I don't mind the city atmosphere !!

(This is not directed at GTgrad86, just the idiot who said that) Oh yes, and by thimble of a stadium you mean: the oldest and winningest division I-A stadium?!?! The one that actually has history, like the Cumberland game? Yeah, thimble. Might wanna take that thumb and stick it up your (or your local cow's) ass.

Where did you find that quote?

Some people actually GO TO SCHOOL and cheer for their school's team. But really, who would actually want to go to school and get a job and not stand in the unemployment line?

This one pissed them off, thanks !!

Let us not forget why Athens even has a stadium.

Why?

Because they were tired of losing to us in ATL. They can now lose to us in Athens too.

And let us not forget that for over half a century we had the largest stadium in the state.

Nad Lickers = Hopeless

It's pretty sweet enjoying a game under Atlanta skyline, it's pretty sweet thousands and thousands of Atlantans hearing the roars from Bobby Dodd! It's awesome filling up the whole Atlanta bar scene with white and gold game day!

And that thimble will feel like you are stuck in a thimble when we get roaring, see you trying for a snap count in that roar.

Obviously the author of the original comment has never been to Athens on game day. Talk about a traffic Cluster F***.

I thought this was exactly what SEC football was about though.

The author of the original quote is probably mad because the parking lots in Atlanta don't accept food stamps.

Thanks to beej67 and techbert for great ugay jabs.:bowdown: Those 2 really pissed them off to the point they started personal attacks. Really struck a nerve !!

Here's a link to the thread if you want more detail.
