Uh Oh! The Blueprint!!

We threw a ton guys, we just didn't catch many of them and the ones we did were just short pop passes that allowed db's to play aggressive. Again our OL could not protect, nor could our B-back. Why did we go back to cut blocking every play? We were much better base blocking last year. I saw ND beating the cut block all game long. That is what lost us the game

As I understand it, the linemen cut block as a last resort to get to the defender in space. It is most often used when our linemen can't get to the player so it makes sense to see cutblocking against a team as athletic as ND.

If they're playing off of us enough to beat the cut block we should just pound them with the zone dive.

Really didn't understand why we didn't see the WR reverse with the safety coming that far across the field. Or the fake rocket toss counter handoff or naked bootleg.

I don't know about screens, but smoke routes for sure.

I can't believe we didn't run one single reverse. It was there all day long....AND it forces the D to stay at home.

I missed the part of the blue print where they explain how ND got our linemen to fall on the ground.

I was calling for this and a-back counter both. Guessing we didn't see WR screen cause we don't have great open field ball carriers at WR this year. If we put Searcy out there it would have been too obvious but that was the only guess I had for why we didn't see it
