UNC Schedule

Their two toughest games are on the road, and don't underestimate NCSU in '09.

I had the same thought about NCState. They were figuring things our in a big way toward the end of the season, while the overall perception of them remains that they "suck". I'm thinking they surprise some teams this year with how much they don't suck. I'm glad we don't play them.

No one in the ACC should be thinking that. UNC damn sure isn't after getting BEAT by them last year. Plus many sources are saying NCST is the 2nd most likely team to win the Atlantic.

If you think the UNC FOOTBALL SCHEDULE is easy, it is a nightmare compared to their ACADEMIC SCHEDULES. Today's Raleigh N&O reports that a snapshot of the fall of 2007 reveals that 82% of all grades given to undergraduates were either A's or B's. More grades of "A" were given than any other grade. Complaints are coming from top students who claim it is increasingly difficult to distinguish themselves where everybody makes an A or a B. The avreage GPA for the entire student body was 3.2. The median would be considerably higher.

People just don't get how tough it is for our athletes academically. Yes, Duke, UNC, UVA, Wake are highly respected academic institutions, every bit as competitive to get into as Georgia Tech. But, once you get in there, you are pretty sure to be "affirmed" with good grades. Believe me, Tech coaches would love for "A" to be the most frequently given grade and for 82% of all grades be A's and B's.
