It's official, according to PJ per the AJC. We will be wearing white jerseys with gold helmets and pants at home.
ALLELEUIA!! Tradition has prevailed!
 
I was hoping for the navy blue jerseys but - oh well. As long as we win.

As far as what visiting teams will wear at BDS, do they still bring white tops?

No, they would wear their home jerseys. It wouldn't surprise me if we broke out the navy jerseys once in a while.
 
So are we wearing white as an away jersey too?

That's one uniform for 12+ games (barring the occasional navy blue/gold).
 
I always thought the gold looked like one of the better uniforms in college football. =(
 
I may be the only fan of the Navy Blue jerseys from the early 1990's. White pants, blue jerseys, gold helmets. Always be my #1.

This is my number two.

The throwbacks should be our homecoming jersey every year.

Home: White-Gold-White
Road: Gold-White-Gold
 
Well, Paul Johnson seems to win... ALOT, when his teams wear blue tops

i am another one that loves the 90s blue look, and i was ecstatic when they ran out with it in the ACC Championship game ... until we lost... but i dont think the jersey was to blame

Unless the rules have changed, the visiting team can still choose to wear white on the road.

Most will not choose that.

If we ever did play at LSU, we could, if I understand the rules correctly, choose to wear white there.

And by the same rule, I doubt if we will have an option to wear Gold shirts on the road.
 
I wonder if there will be an agreement that we'll let MSU wear white for their home game if we can wear white for ours?

I also recall that wake never let us wear our whites at home. What is our uniform in those situations?
 
So does this mean we're wearing the white jerseys that the Machine posted a pic of a few months ago (with the wild stripes across the chest) or are we sticking with the true traditional look?
