Not that I matter, but those unis look great and are very unique.
 
I hope Calvin gets a better helmet for the game, one without the bar down the middle! Didn't Kelly Rhino wear one like that?
 
Those uniforms are fantastic!

I would be all for Tech going to that uniform full time. It's by far the closest uniform we've had to "Old Gold" that I've seen. It's a very unique look with the Gold top and White Helmet. I'm not sold on the strip on the helmet, but it's growing on me.

I think it's a very classy, traditional look. "Old Gold" is technically supposed to be Tech's "Dark" color, while white is supposed to be the "light" color.

I think these uniforms rock! Can't wait to see them Thursday night!

I believe that's just a model helmet.
 
Uniforms look really great!! Maybe we will wear them for the rest of the season if we blow out the Hoos Thursday night.
 
Looks good to me. I remember the Carson era unis. I actually like the look better than the current off shades of gold (neither of which is old gold) and kind of looks blah.

Navy blue jerseys, gold helmets, white pants or these are better imo.

GO TECH!
 
I think All Black would look awesome if we were to wear them one time. I know black is not even in the same ballpark as our team colors, but when we wore black BBall Unis a couple of years ago I thought it was just the coolest thing.
 
I want one of those helmets to bookend my Gold one.
Just a hunch, but I believe this may be more of an experiment than simply just a throw back event.
IMO, there is no way that D Rad is not looking for a new home uniform.
If we win Thursday night, I think that the white hat and golder gold jerseys may stick around. Just a strong hunch, but I hope so.

my personal preference is white jerseys at home, but this is absolutely the next best thing.

What we wear now is a washed out version of Vandy's uniform. pathetic.
 
Now thats the color I'm talking about on the jersey. Thats Old Gold babee! I wish they had the GT on the sleeve like the real old ones though.

True about the missing sleeve GT, but I hope that everyone sees that the Gold hat cannot be worn with an old gold jersey!
 
I've been pondering that old gold helmet and old gold jersey look, and p_w is right, I don't think it would work.

I actually prefer the white jersey at home, but my second pick would certainly be these old gold unis with the white helmet, although I would want the striping to be about half the width that it is on these photos.
 
Interesting thought p_w. A new home uni', I would go for that. I like this combination of darker Gold jersey w/ White helmet I think that they are going to look awesome on Thursday, and I feel a smackdown coming for the Cavaliers.
 
I suspect this won't be the last time for the white helmets. I also like the jersey.

Is UVA wearing throwbacks as well?
 
With UVA in their normal road unis, white shirts, and pants, there will be a lot of white on that field Thursday.
