So we have narrowed down the candidates to some names. I still feel like Zach Kittley is the man with the plan. The Air Raid would fit right away with our team. also mods I don't know if you can move the other thread, and keep this poll instead if not just delete the other thread. Thanks.

I like Korn at Coastal. Although, tough to tell how much is him and how much is Chadwick.

I have heard that Kittley is being heavily courted by Texas Tech

Love the idea of Kittley, but there is a lot of competition, including his alma mater. Rest of those are solid and clear upgrades over who we had. Would be happy with any of those.

I like Kittley, but I’m curious why you think he would fit with our roster at all. Sims is like the opposite of what you’d want in an Air Raid QB, and it negates one of his biggest strengths in his ability to run the ball.

I think Sims would be in a position to succeed. Watching Kittley’s team at Kent State now, he has allowed his QB the creativity to scramble for a decent amount of yards. Another thing I noticed was the offensive line scheme. They try to funnel linemen to the inside in order to clog up rushing gaps and allow for movement on the outside.

I do agree but there is a transfer from akron Zach Gibson. I say go get him he is from Apharetta and When he played Looked very nice actually I would argue He is perfect for the Air Raid. Seriously look into this!

Chip Long, weak resume. No thanks. Why is he being considered?

KIttley, I'd like for us to have a distinctive scheme again. No, maybe not the best fit for Sims, but if he's good he'll adapt it. And we need to think bigger than our current roster.

Are we talking about the same guy? WKU’s QB had a grand total of 17 rushing yards this season, and that’s including a 21 yard run.

No we’re not hahah I was thinking about Andrew Sowder at Kent state. I need to take a break.

Why is Chip Long weak? OC at Memphis under Norvell, 3 years as OC at Notre Dame, Broyles Finalist. I think he fits in the general category of OC's we should be expected to have a shot at getting. I mean if you're talking resumes, Kittley has 4 years experience, 3 of those at Houston Baptist. But I'd still love to have him because if you hit right on one of those young offensive gurus, you hit the jackpot for a few years.

He got fired from Notre Dame so I assume that can't be good

I mean, you either get a young up and comer with little experience or a guy with Power 5 experience who is available. The guys who are going to be available have probably been fired at some point. We aren't poaching a current OC at a P5 school.
