Look at us, we’re the definition of “in shambles”. Let’s get a ööööing winner in here to win bigtime games on a national level then he can leave it back in shambles for all I care.
Or just say “I don’t personally care for Urban” and be done with it. But at least be honest.

Literally built Utah out of nothing.

Brought Florida out of their malaise to a 2 National Titles. Florida Won 11 games 2 years after he left when led by Muschamp.

Brought Ohio State back to national title contender after a long doldrums. And Ryan Day has it humming afterward.

1. Never going to come here so lots of wasted energy on this topic.

2. Would be fired by the administration for off field antics, player crimes, or losing the locker room - just like he has everywhere he’s been

3. Would get fired before the fever dream of winning a national championship at GT and leave the program in a worse place than he arrived

I don’t think he’s coming here. I think you’re take on him being a destroyer of programs is moronic and it’s objectively obvious.

2 is why we are never going to be great again. We are unwilling to do what that takes.

Who whines about wasted energy on a topic we’ve got all season to speculate and waste energy on?

Cabrera should be making the phone call out to his daughter asking her if she’d be interested in an honorary GT PhD to talk her daddy into this. The man has off the field issues and made some poor choices? Who the eff really cares about his personal life if we’re bathing in the tears of our enemies and bringing in championships?

He’s not coming to GT, sure, but I’d definitely get a hard and direct “no” before closing that door for good.

This seems like an idiotic take on the surface. Like when we knew Bobby Bowden wasn't coaching öööö but his teams were top 5 every year.

What years of the many that he actually coached did he not run a successful program, lazy or not?

If the ööööer can make the BCS every year being lazy, imagine if he decided to actually try.

and offer her husband/Urban's Son-in-Law, Corey Dennis, the HC in waiting.....as another carrot.

Urban would give our program instant credibility. No guarantee it would work out, but people / recruits would notice.
