Why didn't they just make whiz the head coach when he graduated. I think he played only for the Falcon's for a bit. Could have been coaching here since the 80's

The rumor is that he was already chosen during the season and CPJ got a sweetened deal to retire to make it happen. If this is true and we were strung along to make it appear to be a coach search we should all be pissed.

Fair enough. If he was such a prohibitive frontrunner that he was basically already hired, I don't understand why we would make it public that we were now interviewing him.
