Utah not #1

Apparently you, along with everyone else who replied to my thread thinks that the better team NEVER EVER loses. Every game ever played in existence in college football, according to your logic, is won by the better team. So I guess you should follow the logic of that "my team is better than yours" website posted earlier this week if you truly believe that. So, according to you, Ole Miss is better than Florida because Ole Miss beat Florida.

We lost to UVA so apparently UVA is better than us?

Hey, LSU beat us, but the AP ranked us ahead of LSU ... what's up with that? I guess it's a damn crime that LSU is ranked below us in all the end of season rankings because they beat us and apparently the team that wins is always the better team, especially if it is within 24 hours. On a side note, LSU should be ranked ahead of us after the way they absolutely dominated us (unlike Florida did to OU).

You said we wouldn't know who the "best team" was until we had a playoff. You know how playoffs work?

We had a playoff; a two team playoff. Everyone has a right to gripe but two teams. Those teams are UF and OU.

OU lost to Texas in convincing fashion. OU lost to UF because UF answered every challlenge by OU.

UF only lost one game by one point in its worst game of the year.

UF is the better team, but not just because the won the head-to-head matchup.

P.S.
I am not entirely convinced LSU is not a better team than we were at the end of the year. But the rankings are based on the whole season.

I would have liked to see Florida win the one poll, but Utah #1 and USC #2 with the Gators #3 in the other. Why? To point out that we realy do not have a championship competition. A divided national championship makes that point. The Gators are a great team and deserving champion. But absolutely nothing on the field proves them a better team than Utah or USC.
