UVA Wins

Yeah, of course, now they decide to start playing well right before playing us.
 
Hmm, wow, I didn't expect this loss for UNC. I'm also not sure what to make of UVA now.

What do you guys think? UNC falls out of top 25 tomorrow and Tech show up near the bottom?
 
Makes next week that much more interesting. We play like we did today, we lose. Seriously, they'll kill us. Clemson is not a good team.

I have to disagree. Clems lost to the #2 Alabama team that blew the schnikes out of our beloved favorite rival. They then lost to the 'GOOD' Maryland team by only 3 and lost to the #1 in the Atlantic Wake team by only 5, before losing to us. If they come out with emotion and keep their defense clicking then I could easily see them beating BC, FSU, Duke, UVA and USCeast which would conclude their schedule. They haven't necessarily been a bad team, just maybe a few other teams were better. I am willing to lay down a bet right now that Clems goes 4-1 to finish the year and ends up in an east coast bowl.
 
Clemson has talent (possibly more than we do)... they just aren't organized right now. They're defense is quick as lightning. We didn't play that bad on offense. Nesbitt was a little rusty at first but then he calmed down. I would rather have a ugly win than a good loss... Wouldn't you? and I think we will beat UVA. GT usually shows up in big games and with CPJ, he'll find some way to win. And plus I would rather beat a UVa team that has alot of momentum coming into the game, than a UVA team that is lifeless. This is still the same players that were destroyed by Duke.

I think we will play better. Take a look on how much UNC got on the ground. We should run all over them.

We won't lose this HC game. CU would have beaten both UNC and UVA by 14 points or more today in Death Valley.

I would have to say Clemson's defense has been one of better defensive units we've played all year. They did certainly have the most film to look at of our offense.

How is UVA's offensive line? Their offensive seem to be pretty well balanced between the run and the pass so we'll again will need to have our defensive line come up big to stop the run and pressure the QB on pass situations.

Despite the fact that UVA won today, they look like Shnitz on offense. I watched the game today against UNC and they were lucky to catch a prevent defense while they were still in the game and move the ball enough to tie it right before the end of regulation. That being said, their defense played very well today, holding a decent/good UNC team to only 10 regulation points. Another fact of note...Tech does not lose on HOMECOMING...Take it to the bank! UVA goes down next weekend, but we certainly need to talk them up, so the Tech players and fans don't brush them off, because that is when a lesser team will sting you.

Don't worry, 40 isn't old at all. I just had to make that comment after you talked about the "Cat Bird Seat," because the only other person I've ever heard talk about that was my grandmother and she's old as hell.

Name their wins for me again? I can't remember those real well. I think there were some powerhouses in there.

Clemson is a bad team. If you disagree with that then you are drinking the koolaid.

They have only beaten The Citadel, NC ST and SC ST, so Kudos to you for pointing out that statistic. That being said, they are not a "top 10" team, but were voted to that high position in the pre-season based on talent that 100% does exist. A more telling statistic is that they lost by 3 to the "GOOD" Maryland team(two-faced team), lost by 5 to a good Wake team and lost by 4 to what I would call a good GT team. Clemson is not a bad team......PERIOD! They will finish this season .500 or above(with or without the coach they started the year with)...I will bet my house on it.

...And I don't drink kool-aid...unless that is a nickname for BEER!

When you start defining how good a team is by discussing their losses, it's pretty obvious that you are drinking the koolaid.
