One major ass whoppin taking place at the Concrete Jungle!!

Used to never happen as we all know. Valdosta is not the Valdosta of old. Would not be surprised to see Tomberlien looking for a job this winter. Those folks will not put upwith getting beat by Lowndes.

Update--23-7 Lowndes. I was amazed at the statement that overall the series is 33-15 for Valdosta, but Lowndes has won 10 of the last 12. Ouch. Phone interview with one of my least favorite people, Buck Belue.
 
Lowndes runs our O, and looks good doing it.

There was a weird play on Valdosta's first kickoff return: the return man had to retreat into the endzone to make the catch and seemed to assume it was a touchback, but he never downed it. He walked out of the endzone, upset about it, and the ref was indicating the ball was live. All the players seemed to assume a dead ball, and the ref eventually blew it dead and marked the ball inside the 5 where the return man was still upset!

In high school if the ball breaks the plane of the goal line its an automatic touchback. I would say the ref didn't think the ball went in the endzone.

Wow, I didn't know that one. If thats the case it looked like the ref clearly blew it! What's new?
 
FWIW, Lowndes pwnd Valdosta, 57-15, the biggest margin in the history of the series.
