In which sections are you sitting at the Vandy game? I just found out that I will be able to go that weekend and will probably stubhub some tickets. I would like to sit by other GT fans.

I can't make it, but honestly its hard to be too far from anyone in that game... Dudley field is a nice design, just small. I went to a DMB concert there last spring and it was kinda cool, more for the city of Nashville than the actual venue. Campus was nice, too.

It's roughly 15k smaller capacity than ours, and looks like it was built all at once, so getting around it shouldn't be a maze(like ours).

I would imagine that you could mozy on over to the Tech section once you got there without too much fuss.

Ok, well that's good to know. I will just buy whatever tickets and move around during the game then.

Most likely we'll all be stuffed into one of the corners. Haven't received my tickets from GTAA yet.

When I have called the AA they have said that they don't sell away seats. Where do you get these?

Beware of StubHub; you might get tickets in the middle of a home section, which, for Vandy, wouldn't be so bad, I suppose (My parents made that same mistake when they bought tickets for the Florida-Mississippi State game from SH).

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I will just wait until some of you get your tickets in the mail before I buy the Vandy tix.

My wife, friend, and I are all thinking of dressing in costumes for the game. Don't know what to dress as just yet ... maybe the Juggernaut .. BITCH!!

how much were they from AA?

I think you have to be a season ticket holder to buy through GTAA. I'm a season ticket holder, but I could be wrong. The ticket price was whatever Vandy has posted on their website. I think it was less than <$40 per ticket.

What about a Paul Johnson costume? The outfit from UGA '08 would scare the sh*t out of a lot of rednecks.

I haven't received my tickets from the GTAA yet. But the last time we played at Vandy, we were in Sections V, U, T, S. Anything on that side of the stadium should work fine.

Thanks, I am a regular season ticket holder AND a student season ticket holder. Nashville should be neat trip.

GT regular season ticket holders get the opportunity to buy road tickets to all the away games prior to the start of the season. (It's on one form that is mailed to your address.)

Not sure how they handle away game ticket sales for students and/or non-season ticket holders.

Guys,
Been there to a few games. You can still buy them from Vandy, Secs A B and U V are vistor sections. They will put you in them, if you can get a room in the marriot you can walk to the game and back to the hotel, plus it has a bar that over looks the staduim. Great trip if you can go!

Got mine yesterday. Sec. V.

Lets go Tech fans!! Nashville is closer to Atlanta then every other ACC school (except for Clemson). Hotel rooms are pretty cheap on Hotwire at last glance.

Nashville is a beautiful city, and Vanderbilt has a really nice campus. I can't make it, but anyone debating on whether or not to go should definitely make the trip. It's well worth it! And the drive up there isn't bad at all.

Being that is going to be Halloween, are any of you going to be dressing up in anything crazy?
