Vandy Section for Visitors

I bought season tix to Vandy this year since GT played there. (It was only like $100 extra dollars for the package I got and its fun for the family.)

You will have no trouble getting cheap tickets on the street before the game. You will have no trouble sitting in the GT section, which will be Sect. V & U at the NE end. You will be able to move over to midfield in the upper portion of the stadium on the east (GT) side if you want.

I am interested to see how GT travels compared to other SEC schools this year: Miss State, Ole Miss, UGA, Kentucky. Ole Miss brought about 15k. Miss State about 10k. Georgia brought about 20k+ in 2007. I expect that to be down.

SEC schools always show up big in Nashville. Its a fun trip, tickets are easy to get, there are a lot SEC alums in Nashville, and the visitors usually win.

Last time, if I recall correctly, we brought 5 or 6K. IF we exceed that number, I would be surprised. Last week in Tally was about the same crowd.

The only places we have had larger road crowds for regular season games are UGA, Clemson, Notre Dame.

Thanks for the info. I can't wait for the game. I like going to away games.

Going, staying at the Loews which has Vanderbilt in the name... 90/night on priceline. Planning on scalping with friends the day of. Am open to dressing up depending on weather and game time. Hoping for a day game so I can make it to the Avett Brothers at Ryman after. Now THOSE tickets are gonna be pricey. And OMG, one of them plays the banjo. They must be hillbillies.

Hmmm... Roger Daltrey (yes, the Roger Daltrey:bowdown:) is playing at the Ryman the night before. Now, you wanna talk about pricey tickets?
