I wonder how cops start reacting to this as it’s happening in real time lol. You just know they have to deal with it and go along and let these hundreds of folks break the law lol
(1) The cop cars were escorting them. You can see it in the video.

(2) The law is an ass.

GT mentioned during the broadcast for being one of 3 previous unranked teams to take down a No. 1 ranked Bama team. yeah c'mon.
Vandy was 0-60 against top 5 prior to the Bammer win. I think GT has won 12.

My guess: Bammer 2 times, FSU 2 times Miami 2 times, Nebraska 1 time, Virginia 1 time, UGAg 1 time (1928), Vo Teck 1 time, Tennessee in the 1950s, maybe Awbun once

The Sugar Bowl vs Tennesee in 1956, featured a #2 Tennessee team that Tech defeated 6-0.

Georgia Tech has never played Tennessee in the Sugar Bowl. Tennessee beat the Jackets 6-0 in Atlanta that season and lost to Baylor in the Sugar Bowl.

Tech as won 8 games against AP top 5 ranked teams according to the media guide (no listing of any non-AP rankings).

'42 Alabama
'56 SMU
'62 Alabama
'81 Alabama
'90 UVa
'00 Clemson
'05 Miami
'09 VT

AI seems to have got me, and I read it wrong. It was a game where the winner would go to the Sugar Bowl, and was called (according to the AI answer) "The Sugar Bowl Showdown".

Then it says: "1956: Georgia Tech vs. Tennessee (#2 vs. #3): In a game with an invitation to the Sugar Bowl on the line, Georgia Tech’s “Black Watch” defense held Tennessee to a 6-0 shutout" which is a confusing answer, and I interpreted wrong
