I was told that Tenuta told a player to punch himself in the nuts after they reviewed his blown coverage in the film room.

Confirmation, dems?

Who cares? I have no doubt that a lot worse than that has been said in every film/locker room around the nation.

Why do you need confirmation like this is some big deal?

While you're at it, dem, I'm gonna need verification that Chan once said he preferred vanilla over chocolate ice cream.

O'Leary has said similar things. I don't know what the big deal is.

What does that have to do with anything?

I never said anything about it being bad or good. Keep your assumptions to yourself.

Honestly, do you really need confirmation that Chan chose the bland, safe flavor?

Well then what's the point of this thread?

Guy just wants to know, it sounds like. Not passing a value judgment on the statement. Did it happen or not?

I believe O'Leary's was:

"Hold still while these two linebackers smear you all over the field so you know what being sacked feels like."

Wow Kyle, I have no idea, wouldn't be surprised, things have happened a lot worse then that.

locker room after UGA in 2006 is one I can think of.

program under chan was a loose ship....lots and LOTS of finger pointing.

one of the first things PJ told his team in a meeting was something to the effect of "you see that score board, it reads GA TEch, not offense, not defense, not sp teams, we win and lose as a team. No more finger pointing, no more "i did my job" if we lose we are all losers" Hey then proceeded to say "this is my team, i am not your friend or buddy, you can come to me for help, but I am a football coach, I am not here to sacrifice a team for your individual well-being, I am here to win football games, if you don't like it I suggest you leave"

YES I am fired up.

33, I'm not questioning your motive of this post, but last Tuesday I spent a few hours with some coaches who told me things that was being said to the players but all of them asked me not to repeat it.

Again, you might might (probably) have better relationships down there because you are there a lot. But as someone who played we lived by the motto what's said in the lockerroom should stay in the lockerroom.
