VPI weasels their way into a BCS game once again...

Weasels? Is that what you call it when you win a conference championship game in a half empty (or half full) stadium?
 
They don't, but they beat us so all we can do is keep it in the back of our minds for next year. As good as this year has been it sucks majorly that we had our chances and couldn't pull it off.
 
VT has quickly risen to the top of my most hated list...under UGA.
 
They beat us - so I don't know why we should be talking.
 
They beat us, but they also got beat by a TON of teams. Lets face it. No team in the ACC made a case for deserving to be in the ACCCG. We would have looked best being in there since we got really good by the end of the season, however, in the beginning we were average, which is what hurt us.

Is there another conference in college football whose highest ranked team isn't at least playing for the conference championship?

I think if USC had lost then they wouldn't have won the Pac-10 despite being the highest ranked team in the conference, but since they won, there isn't any conference where that is the case.

Absolutely. What makes me mad isn't just how they beat Tech (bogus penalty(s?) on winning drive). It's that they were getting whipped by UNC until the Heels QB goes down in the 2nd half. They catch Duke the one day their QB is out, and win despite 5 turnovers and only 7 offensive points. Then they catch BC with their backup QB in the ACC CG - when BC's starter torched them last month.

I understand GT didn't take care of their business, but VT completely backed in to the conference championship. No respect here either. But wow, the ACC will be loaded next year!

And they only beat Nebraska due to ACC refs. It's an OOC game, but still. This is why I do not feel that they deserve or earned the ACC title.

And we can all see what's going to happen in the BCS game. Another major choke job by VT, leaving the ACC as the laughing stock of college football, YET again.

I watched that game and I don't agree. There was a questionable play or two but in the end I don't think it mattered. VPI was the better team that day.

But certainly I agree that VPI was given a gift into the Orange Bowl and that they'll likely lose again when representing our conference.
 
Whining about a team that beat us is a pretty ugag type activity guys. They won, we didn't...congratulations VPI, don't choke again against Cincy.
