Yup. IIRC they were only like 5-7 point favorites last year. I remember thinking that line was so far off. I was very close to losing A LOT of money on that game.

I was just wondering how they looked. I pretty much expect VT to bring there A game this weekend (see UNC, BC, Miami), but if they also have had some B or C games (see Tennessee, Syracuse, Duke, Pitt). To HappyBuzz's point, all of those A games have been at home, so again, I'm expecting them to play very well.

I wish our defense was as sassy as you.
 
Foster always brings it against GT. I think he puts extra into this game to prove he can prepare for it and it shows as he had owned our asses.

This game wont even be close with our defense who exchanged play books with the big 12.

This game was played during Hurricane Matthew. I'm not sure the results would be the same in ideal conditions

I was just busting your chops. VT is very beatable. Very beatable by us? That's another question altogether.

If I'm VT's offense, I'm doing everything I can to get to 3rd down.

If I could envision hell, it would be a constant loop of Georgia Tech playing defense on 3rd down. When the band plays that tune, and the fans raise their hands and begin doing spirit fingers, Satan emerges through the flames and does all kinds of Baylory things to our defense.
 
Facing Bud Foster in Blacksburg is always a challenge for our offense, and we don't even know if JT and Burden will be playing. Better to assume a loss at this point, even though anything can happen in college football. If I was CPJ, I'd concentrate on getting healthy and prepared for UVa. If anyone is not 100%, it's a good opportunity to get their backups some experience. Try to get out of there without a bunch of players being lost for the rest of the season.
 
Sadly Tech will be annihilated in Blacksburg. No way the offense can score TDs on every offensive possession.
 
If JT doesn't play, I hope we go 5 wides from the shotgun and just shoot our load.

If only for JT's health and safety, I don't want him to play against VT. I'm serious VT would like nothing more than to knock him out for the rest of the season.

What if we just let our defensive line play on the offensive line this week? They have no trouble getting letting the ball get carried right through them and you never have to worry about penetration when they're on the field, amirite?
