Was it just what we predicted, will it buy Chan more time?

The only way any consideration should be given for him to stay is if he wins out. All of em.

4-3 with two very winnable games remaining, one fairly winnable game remaining, and two games left against tough top 25 opponents.

8-4 with the loss against UGA leaves you 5-3 in conference --I don't see a coaching change if this happens.

8-4 with the loss against VT leaves you 4-4 in conference --I don't see a coaching change at 8-4 with a win against UGA.

7-5 with losses to VT (4-4) and UGA --I can certainly see a possibility of a change being made

and

7-5 with a slip-up against either Duke or UNC (4-4) AND a loss to UGA --then I can very much see a possibility of a change being made.

yes, GTK does just talk b/c he's got nothing else to do....also, anything less than winning out and Gailey should be fired but won't because we're stuck with him like always, also, whoever said P.Wheeler is the best LB in the country is smokin crack or either lives in a trailer park. Wheeler is a good athlete, but misses A TON of assignments, for example the 75 yd scoring strike against MD, but whatever, the season is still a HUGE dissapointment thus far, exactly as I predicted, a win over Mia will get everybody back questioning, where as last week there was no questioning, just "Gailey needs to go NOW" ....but here we are again. Where is BOR? I need someone to back me here. He understands the scenario. The bandwagon fans are back, or maybe just the fence riders. Win out Gailey, and I will defend u, if not, holla back.

Also, whoever recorded the game, please go back and look at the 4th down conversion Mia converted in the 2nd half on the ground. Look at Avery Roberson, and send me a personal message stating your personal thoughts about it......please.. someone go back and watch it....please...I've never in my life seen anything like it, or maybe I have every week and I'm just used to it. The play I'm speaking of is the one with the contraversial take-away by DJ Jones before the runner hit the ground, please look at A.Roberson and let me know what u think. Please, please, please.

I don't believe that. I think if he beats VT there will be tremendous pressure to keep him for financial reasons. Even though you say we will be fine it is still a big hit to the AA.
I can not get a read on the VThug team at all. Some weeks they look like they would mop the floors with us, and some weeks they look very average. Other then LSU they still have not really played anyone.

They are looking better and better each week. They beat Clemson away handily. I think if they played LSU next week it would be a much closer game. They are really hitting their stride now.

I know the play but have deleted the game...what happened or did you perceive to happen? It sounds like you're either in shock or just want others opinions.

He needs to beat Georgia or win 8 games.

My opinion....your or needs to become an and, and then even then its not safe.

If he goes 8-4 and beats UGA, with his deepest most talented team yet, why would anyone think he could do better?

8-4 and beat UGA ='s 50/50 he keeps his job.

If he wins out...he keeps it.

anything around 7-5 and he is gone. Remember 7-5 with your deepest most talented team yet won't cut it. Those two wins were against Army and Samford. Against legit D1 teams we would be 5-5 in that case, with two of those being maybe Duke and ND. So really 3-5 against avg to above avg opponents. NOT cutting it in my opinion.

8-4 with a win over UGA Chan definitely stays.
