Being a greeter at our church on Sunday mornings, and an avid GT fan, I have noticed over the last few years that the Auburn camp used to return my greeting with "WAR EAGLE". That's ok, cause I wear my GT tie regular anyway. I've noticed that since Auburn won so many of our last meetings, that the "War Eagle" gradually became "Wau Eagle" or "Wah Eagle". Hard to explain this sound in writing other than there is a definite sound of superiority in the pronounciation. If you are around many of these folks, you definitely know what I mean. Can't wait to get to church this morn and catch the first pronounciation of it today. THANKS GT FOOTBALL TEAM AND COACHING STAFF!!!!!! for a well timed relief from the foe.
