Give our guys credit. UGA walks all over most SEC teams. Tech pushed their shit in for 3.5 Qtrs. It was an incredible display of heart and toughness. No moral victories, but certainly a lot of pride for the effort and execution it took to push the dwags to the brink.
 
We should’ve won. I’m just so sad. The players and staff deserved it. I hate the money shit that has taken over football and really everything.

Never forget the missed targeting call I'm pretty sure King was unconscious for awhile especially since he just fumbled the ball but appeared to just be sitting on the ground for awhile

Yeah. Sure. We are definitely financially helpful for the corporations running the CFB Playoff. You are comparing our ability to pay players with the massive massive monetary benefit of large cfb conferences and teams getting multi million dollar payouts for sending teams to the playoff.

ESPN had us 93% odds to win in the 4th quarter. We kicked their ass all game long. You gotta win that game. Period. No excuses .Bad mojo like that is what the Boston Red Sox were a part of for so long. There were no moral victories last night.

I don't see how that's new.

If you look back at stingtalk ten or twenty years people weren't talking about how we had a level playing field, they were talking about how the refs/SEC/tobacco road/etc. was biased against us because we're not a "name" program.

The playoffs weren't around when the refs were literally pulling our players off the pile to allow Georgia to run back a "fumble" for a touchdown.

I would just say it is accelerating to WWE territory.
 
Not blaming the refs specifically for the L, but my God they sure are skeered of uga. The no fumble call on the goal line leading to TD and the blatant targeting no-call, etc. Just call a fair game imo.

Correct. But you know that going into the game. You have to beat them convincingly so that there’s no way to be cheated.

The only silver lining is that the rest of college football fandom watched and saw what happened. Everyone is pretty unanimous that we were the better team and were hosed on multiple accounts. We are being taken seriously even in defeat. Wouldn’t be surprised to see us ranked to start the year or at least getting votes.
 
Two years ago, everyone penciled in a W on their schedule next to our names. This year, we played equal or better against playoff teams. I haven’t been this optimistic about GT football since 2015. We are #2 in recruiting in the ACC. We should be aiming very high next year.

The gap is closing.
