We are 5-1 for the 2nd time under CPJ

Can you believe that? 5-1 two years in a row. This guy is no fluke. Our run last year wasn't luck. The option hasn't been figured out. Watching the Florida game last night, I saw how they run the exact same offense as us, but it's crappier because they run it out of the gun. It only looks better because of their unbelievable NFL offensive line.

Our defense is obviously our only major weakness. But to give credit to FSU, Ponder as hitting his receivers all night. He is a quality QB. Regardless, our defense shouldn't have given him the change to hit his receivers with razor precision. Our adjustments for the 2nd half made me feel a wee bit better about our future, but our offense makes me feel extremely confident about our future. They are unbelievable. It all can be attributed to the brains of our offense: CPJ and Nesbitt. Those two are absolutely amazing. We get Nesbitt for another year and hopefully CPJ for the rest of his coaching career.

Paul johnson has turned this program around. We beat FSU last year for the first time in god knows how many years, we beat UGAY after 7 straight years of losing, he beats Dodd's record for a first year coach with 9 wins, and then turns around and goes to FSU which we've never won at and beats them. This man is remarkable. It's like God made up for torching us with Chan Gailey by giving us Paul Johnson lol.

I have been sold on CPJ since last season. Even if we get blown out by VPI I have no doubt about the bright future this program has. I could not be happier.

If we reach 10 or more wins, the only coaches who might be a better candidate for ACC coach of the year are David Cutcliff and a bowl eligible Duke or whats his name at BC if they win 8 games this season.
