We are going to be UGAy's toughest game of the season

Beej, no way they fire Richt for losing 3 games this year... there will be some rednecks who will say but it won't happen. He'd have to lose 3 years to us before they'd fire him.

I think you misread his post. That's exactly what he said. If they lose to us 3 years in a row, they may fire Richt.

Even then, I don't think they would fire him. He has done too much there to be fired over 3 losses to us. A lot of it would depend on what else he did during those years.

Moreno is one of the best backs in the country. He's like a combination between McFadden and Reggie Bush but without the star power yet. He is NOT overrated. He is scary.

The AJ Green kid is scary too, but I think our bigger corners will have better success against him than ASU. Plus all his yardage came in single man coverage. He only had one catch in the second half when ASU adjusted.

Green reminds me of the old FSU teams where they just threw the ball up high and asked an athletic WR to come down with the ball. I hate to say, but those teams were unbeatable for Tech. I have not been worried by UGA, we've shut them down for a few years now. But with those excellent receivers anything can happen now for their offense and I am worried.

BUT, IF we can get some guys back AND IF we avoid any more injuries, then I think we will be their toughest game. Personally, I hope they are undefeated when we play them.
 
Moreno is outstandingly talented.

I'm glad he's dumb enough to where he couldn't get into VT. I'd hate to have to deal with him in-conference and then deal with Caleb King in our rivalry game. At least this way they're overlapped and one of them is wasted.

Nope. Wouldn't matter. He loses 3 straight to us and he's gone, no matter what else he does in those years. I'd lay money on it.

Or a 5th of booze, like I did with Kirbee over Gailey last year.

Seriously. He didn't have the requisite pre-algebra class to get into VT. He was still stuck in basic arithmetic in high school. VT had to pull their offer and he ended up at UGA.

And I'm sometimes still asked how I can be a UGA grad and pull for GT. It's pretty obvious when you hear stuff like this. I've just always separated the education from the athletics.

Seriously, my degree was tough and took a lot of work and dedication, and it's a joke how the University of Georgia allows the football program to make the university as a whole look like less of an institute for higher learning than it actually is.

AK is right, UGA makes a joke out of itself with decisions such as this.

GT65 wants to assure all of his fellow Tech fans on ST that he had the required mathmatical background, was not enrolled in remedial math for two years, went to class and passed all core requirements for his Statistics degree. No one took a test for me, I was long gone when Harrick Jr. was teaching a course, and I attended real classes with real professors.

I really do hate UGA (athletically speaking). :mad:

Its ok though. Richt is such a great Christian and can judge good character so much, that Moreno more than made up for the lack of math.

You're not alone, one in our collective group is a UGA grad as well but roots for Tech.

Back in school, he'd wear the opposing teams color to the UGA home games in the student section and catch Hell.

He wanted to go to Tech but we don't offer that degree/program.

I love how people ride my ass about UGA vs GT b/c of football. I just tell them I didn't pick my school over the damn football program, and even if I did, I still made the right choice b/c we were kicking their ass then anyway.

I'm sorry, but I don't want to believe this. I cannot live in a world where Athens is anything other then an intellectual wasteland and the asshole of planet Earth. Evidence to the contrary by way of well-spoken, non-sister screwing individuals will not be permissible. From now on, you obtained your degree when you stole it from a drifter and assumed his identity. UGA grads with knowledge of mathematics is the 3rd sign of the apocalypse. ACC refs making rational, non-biased and intelligent calls is the 7th and final sign. We're good for while.
