Atrocious refereeing /= conspiracy
Right, Sankey did the opposite any other executive with tens of millions of dollars on the line for his company would do. Sure, there was the potential for an SEC playoff spot on the line and his employees were in a position to put their thumbs on the scale to help ensure that his company got those tens of millions of dollars, but we have so much evidence that the purity of the game is what really drives the SEC decision makers. Never has college football been about something so crass as money to those in charge. Their decisions are motivated by tradition and the sanctity of amateur competition. They're too pure for this world, really.
