Gailey’s big fail was not getting a QB. Reggie Ball had a pretty similar start to his career, but something tells me Jeff Sims is gonna be a baller for years to come.

We picked up big yards. Blocked kicks, freshman mistake interceptions, facing huge cloggers up the middle. Didn't have the electric guy in the backfield.

I don't really think that was the design today. Hell, we went for it on 4th down in our own territory on the opening drive. We just made a lot of mistakes that kept the game low scoring.

This was definitely a case of the better team winning despite growing pains.

Sims made a few freshman mistakes, but looked athletic and mostly very poised in the pocket. I'm cautiously optimistic.
