I agree completely. In the early 90's we had Sisson, but a poor punting game, then the pk'ing got worse and punting was better (Bender and Williams). The last coupla years though, we have had talent and consistency in both. Hope it keeps up--we do have Mr. Jordan coming in to help out
And I think some of us have taken it for granted. As much as I loved Rodney's booming spirals, both Morehouse and Dykes have been more consistant and kickoffs which was a sore point for me have finally become less of an adventure in the last coupla years even though we have used a variety of kickers. When you can maintain consistant performance even with different players, it generally points to good coaching and if you don't happen to recall, GOL was our kicker's coach.
I don't know who's coaching kickers this year, but I do worry about a let down in that area, simply because we've been so good there recently. The kicking game can lose or win 1-2 games for you every season.
This is one area I haven't seen discussed and it's starting to bother me....
