no technical/football analysis here...just recalling how our ST's provided a HUGE spark for us in last year's victory in Blacksburg.

Having said this, I would be very surprised if Beamer Ball doesn't have some tricks up his sleeve for us on ST's next Thursday. We hit them hard in the place they take the most pride in.

Virginia Tech will be out for revenge (esp the ST's aspects) and quite frankly, it concerns me.

Hopefully our improvement in this department will negate any outside factors and this post doesn't mean jack-squat.

Needless to say, I will have my fingers crossed :fingersx: and watch intently on every ST's play next week.
 
they could very well dominate us in all facets - not just ST's. I would imagine they are pissed from last year in general. Hope for a very draining game this week vs. BC and they come in flat.
 
You guys hope for whatever you like, personally I'm hoping for a miracle. :)

With Choice 99% out after his surgery I see us getting absolutely trainwrecked. TB is hardly prepared to face this defense in 3rd and long. Add in 1-2 special teams 'errors' and its going to be painful.

This is just the type of game that we win I think (bye week record aside). Then we will struggle mightily against UNC and Duke and lose to one of them.

On the bright side, he's gotten a lot of practice at third and long this season.

They just shoved our ST's play up our ass.
 
And we are doing it again tonight......did you see how we schooled him on that onsides kick? Brilliant.
