Dixon was a great runner. Reminds me of a less nimble Dwyer. And I agree with the previous poster that we forced those fumbles (4 of the 5 to be specific). I watched the replay on Wednesday night on CSS and we dominated until the 4th when we played prevent.
I agree Dixon is a great runner...and I also agree that with the more traditional runs (that UNC ran, and occasionally MSU ran) we were pretty effective at stopping it. Our problems lie outside of the tackle box at the line of scrimmage. On misdirection runs or pass plays it seems that we can't get our D-Line past the line of scrimmage and into the backfield to disrupt things.
I think we will have a lot of success at stopping FSU's ground game, but we NEED to get pressure on Ponder.
