Weekly Press Conference for ND

There's not much you can say that sounds good when you're staring down the barrel of a third straight 3 win season.
How many 3 straight 3 win teams use team meeting time to take a trip down memory lane with the seniors with Vitamin C “Graduation” song bumpin during the slide show?

And a half empty Bobby Dodd was rocking?
Where the Stones there that night?

The stadium actually got a little loud toward the end of the game when we had them backed up, but then we let them convert and drive the field.

But when we were up 21-7? Nah, people were sitting on their hands (except the two dudes directly in front of me, who were literally the only people standing up for 50 yards around my seats, and they were barely watching the game).

"Bobby Dodd was Rockin'" ?
yep, with shouts of anger at his incompetent clock management to run out the last minute of the first half, then it was rockin' (at a very high level, elite even) with boos raining down on his clown head and his fellow clown show staff.

He lost me "all the things are still there when building a program." about 20 seconds in.

there wasn't much rocking around our seats Saturday.
whole lot of griping, though.

We just blew a double digit lead against a mediocre BC team (though Jurkovec is a good QB)
We go on the road to face an improving top 10 Notre Dame.
But our coach opens his presser talking about how well our "developmental" offensive line (and just what in the hell are we "developing" there? If they're practicing that well, why aren't they ATL?) practices, how well our third string QB is practicing and about all the kumbaya at a Friday team meeting.
Thankfully, there is only one more of these laughable and futile exercises to endure this season.

I listened to all three pressers. Don’t ask me why. As usual Patenaude sounds like the only guy who knows what the hell he’s talking about and is authentic.

Without running anyone down he also makes it clear he is limited playbook-wise due to the OL.

when our clown coach was talking about players getting "significant burn" at first I thought he was talking about the secondary.
turns out he was talking about some young players
