If you're a betting man, get your bets in early before the line starts moving towards us, especially after what everyone saw us do to Miami.

If they failed to beat Kentucky, Auburn, and Vandy by that much, I find it hard to believe they'll beat us by that much, if at all...

Frankly, I'm amazed. I hope UGA believes this going into the game. I know that not a single one of us non-biased, completely objective fans here think we'll lose, let alone lose by a touch and a field goal, but apparently someone has in Vegas has very little faith in the veer against UGA.

GTJT622 had a good post on the Hive about the line before it was announced. He predicted 9-10 pts based on predictor models having UGA as a 6 pt fave on a neutral field, 3-4 pts for home field, possibly another 1-2 pt for UGAs recent success in the series, and 1-2 pts our way for our success ATS this year.

The lines have already moved 2 pts our way.

This guy was probably going by the LVSC Open which is the starting point then it is adjusted by each of the casinos. But if you link at the link above it is b/n 8.5-8.0 at all the casinos.

I figured it would be 9pts IMO. We are dinged up and it is an away game. Also we are just one game removed from the UNC debacle.

we need another term! Thesaurus.com had: dark horse, and out-of-towner as suggestions.

Dawg is not a word, it's another way that people in Athens rape the English language. I guess out-of-towner is technically correct. Maybe I should have said we're the smart pick for bettors to make money.
