Western Carolina football

the Pioneers of Tusculumn are usually pretty good..they are in a tough d2 conference with Catabwa, Carson-Newman, Newberry, Wingate and Mars Hill and they continously play d1 schools which besides a payout doesnt benefit you at the d2 level...good d2 football is generally better than avg d1 tournament series.....

the top 25-30 d2 football programs are consistently better than your run of the mill d1 tournament series teams........exactly what I said--do the research if you don't believe it..

back when I was at Valdosta we went to FAU and beat them like 42-17 a week after they beat MTSU..............pretty standard from the top d2 schools

So the top DII schools are better than the top FCS schools?

Tusculum was 6-5 last year, losing to the likes of Mars Hill, Newberry (that was Tusculum's homecoming bout), Wingate, Hickory, and Carson-Newman.

Tusculum was an average D2 school.

ended up betting on Tech for Thursday, let's see what happens. I hate spread betting but it was too tempting.

WCU is pretty terrible, but they do have an "ace up their sleeve" if you will: that is, they face the flexbone variant of the spread option a lot, at least once a year. I know for a fact they play Georgia Southern every year as well as a few other teams like the Citadel and possibly Furman who have run the offense in the past.

That said, they are HORRIBLE and I'll be disappointed if GT doesn't win by at least 21 points.

I believe PJ said that they lined up 4 different ways against similar offenses last year fwiw.
