What can be done to speed up replay reviews?

I think they should just get rid of replay. Even after they review the crap out of most close call plays, it still feels like they get it right half the time. Just go back to old school call it on the field and move on. Even worse when you are at a live game, have to deal with the 5 minute tv timeouts and also deal with reviews. No wonder game attendance is slowly dying.
Missouri disagrees from the Colorado game.

As much as this is important to the game, somebody in the know (politics and all) will be handling this every offseason and clearly we have no input….

My idea is to get the call correct. If it takes 4.5 hours to get a fair game then so be it. I’ve never had a problem with short delays to get it right. I still remember wrong calls from the 80’s that cost my team games so I dang sure don’t mind taking a little extra time each game. We only get 12-14 games a year so what’s the rush. And for games I’m watching at home it’s more time to pee and less time to do the honey do list. A win win win.
You want to get the call "correct" at what cost though. For example, a team that's running an up tempo no huddle offense may be better off with not getting a 5 yard play correct and losing all their momentum. They may prefer keeping momentum for 2nd and 10 than having 2nd and a long 5 and losing that momentum. So is it really the correct call if 1 team is worse off no matter what decision is made?

And then even when getting the correct call is clearly better for the beneficiary, then is it really a good thing to have players standing around for an indeterminate amount of time with nothing to do (the indeterminate amount of time is important...it means they cannot mentally and physically be at their peak for when they're next on the field). You may get this individual call correct, but you've possibly negatively impacted the overall game.
