What does that tell you? I always heard, "when the coach stops yelling at you, then you know the 'bend don't break strategy' sucks."
Post game he was more critical of o leaving points on field. Kind of feel like he's thrown hands up on defense. Not good. He's responsible for that side of ball, too.PJ hasn't criticized the defense much over the past couple games. Didn't hear the post game today.

iiwii
Laskey and Days.
That we don't have now? Luck?
We had luck like the OP said. The GSU win was luck. Watson getting hurt in the first quarter of the Clemson game was luck (he was marching their offense down the field like a knife through butter before we got the gift of Cole Stoudt). The Pitt game where they turned the ball over 30 times in the first quarter, enough said. The VT and Ugay games could have gone either way, though we did get hosed on that gift touchdown the refs gave those ööögots on the "fumble" and subsequent return.
We dominated Virginia, NC State, the cupcakes, and Mississippi State. The rest of that season was fluke city.
Really, ööögots is censored? Didn't realize this place had turned into a safe space.
The real question is what did we have in 1990. The answer is a 41-38 win over and 8-4 UVA team. Greatest win in GT history.
And Shaq Mason. Sweet, lovely Shaq Mason who would drive 2-3 guys back and never let us down.
Indeed he was.
But what does it say about a program that falls apart this much 2 years after a single O lineman has left the program?
Perhaps one of the biggest indictments of a coaching staff I can imagine.
With Laskey we KNEW he was not going to get stuffed or thrown for a loss on any play, much less 3rd/4th and 1. This gives a level of confidence and a lot of options on what to do in a variety of situations.
